[South East] Side of Dalmeny Parish A small village composed of a large farm house two stories high with offices and thrashing machine; and a number of cottages one and two stories high, all in good repair. There is a garden, and a large arable farm attached to the farm house; and all the cottages have gardens attached. The farm house is tenanted by James Gillespie and the cottages are occupied by agricultural laborers. The property of W. E. Hope Vere Esqr. Craigie Hall. There is one Wright's shop. The farm is called "Craigie Farm" by way of distinction. |
