006 | [situation] About 8 chains NW by W. [North West by West] of Dundas Castle. This is pointed out to me as the Site of an Ancient Chapel in Connection with Dundas Castle. There is none of the Walls now remaining. In Erecting the Kennel & Gamekeeper's Cottage there were removed some of the old Foundations of the Walls. The Kennel is built on the site; and a small portion of the adjacent Park still bears the name of Chapel Acre |
