This is a small spring well on the farm of Balmuir Situated in a small Fir plantation on the East side of the Barbauchlaw Burn, near to Bridge Castle It is said to resemble very much the Celebrated Dollar Water, It is resorted to by the inhabitants who have horses that are snipped by the Harness or otherwise Cut, and by rubbing the wounded places by the water from this spring it heals almost immediately |
