This Glen was formerly one the principal Hunting places in the district and is said to have been much frequented for sporting purposes by the Earls of Sutherland in the 16th. Century. It is covered with rocky, heathy pasture, and it is the property of his Grace the Duke of Sutherland

089 A stream having its source about one and one half miles to the North of Beinn Chòl, it runs in an Easterly direction for about one mile, after which it turns to the South, and enters Loth Burn adjacent to Carradh nan Clach, Its slopes are steep & rugged & it is a very rapid running stream His Grace the Duke of Sutherland proprietor.
