105 | On a natural knoll, in this district, stand the remains of a pictish tower, composed of dry stone, the inner wall being about four feet high, on the inside, the outside, as well as nearly the whole of the outer wall being covered with loose stones and overgrown with grass and heather, There is a similiar tower, situated also on a small natural knoll, a short distance to the east of this district, and in the South western part of Dunrobin wood, but none of its walls are more than two feet in height, and can only be traced for about a quarter of their circle, being covered with grass and loose stones. |
