Situated in the Parish of Tongue, about 2 miles West of the County Road leading from Lairg to Tongue and about 9 miles from Altnaharra Inn. This mountain which the Statistical Account of the Ph. [Parish] of Tongue Calls the Queen of Scottish mountains is a very prominent feature, having 4 very prominent Peaks which rese far above the Ordinary Summit of the hill and are Seen for miles round, in Every direction these peaks have All descriptive names, and will be found described in name book in their respective places. |
