098 This name applies to a rock situated a short distance North of the Confluence of Loth Burn with the Moray Firth. At the Eastern extremity of this Rock when constructing the Railway A.D. 1869 the workmen came upon a Stone Cist together with an Urn Containing human remains. And at the Western extremity of this rock a Stone was found richly ornamented with interlaced Sculpture. About one fourth mile to the Northwest of the Earls Cut three Urns were found A.D 1830. All of these Urns together with the Sculptured Stone are deposited in the Museum at Dunrobin Castle.
