017.03 Extends from its junction with Port Street and park Terrace westward along the west Side of the Glasgow and Edinburgh road. Consists of some elegant dwelling houses two and three storeys high with ornamental ground and Hardens attached. It is considerably higher than the road And is divided from the latter by a Stone Wall. It is pleasantly shaded with large forest trees and forms a beautiful promenade.
