| Logie (Continued) | [continued from page 1] The parish of Logie is whole and entire, but it is divided into 6 separate parts by the boundaries of the counties of Stirling, Perth, and Clackmannan. Of these 6 portions, one is in the County of Perth; two separate portions are in the County of Stirling; and three separate portions are in the County of Clackmannan as described in the name books for the portions of this parish in the respective Counties. Of the two separate portions which are in the County of Stirling, the greater part forms a portion of the main body of the County and it joins the parishes of Stirling, St. Ninians, Lecropt, and part of the parish of Dunblane. The other portion forms a detached part No. 1 of the County of Stirling and it joins the parish boundary of Dunblane. There are no detached portions of this parish, and there are no detached portions of any other parish situated within it. The first of the above two described portions of this parish, that are in the County of Stirling contains 2183 Statute Acres. The other portion of Logie parish which forms a detached part of the County of Stirling will be found also in this Name Book; it contains __ Statute acres and is situated in that part of Logie parish which is in the County of Perth. |

[Page] 2The above corrections have been made since this Name Book was received from Southampton on the 16th May 1862 as it was considered desirable to keep the separate portions of Logie Parish which belong to the Counties of Perth, Stirling, and Clackmannan in a Separate
Name Book for each County.
