015.04 The object to which this name applies was a small corn mill. It was burned down in 1856; the walls of which are still [seen]. Tradition states that King James the Sixth caused it to be built, owing to a dispute that arose between the Barons of Glentirran and Dasher, as to their respective rights to the Broich Burn.
