016.02 A Saw Mill worked by water. The water wheel is about 7 horse power. It is a wooden building and used for cutting up wood principally for posts and rails on the Estate of Boquhan. There was formerly a large Flour Mill here three storeys high, but it has been pulled down and the present wooden building erected in its place. The property of H. F. Campbell Esqr. of Boquhan.

016.01 This name applies to a waterfall of about 20 feet in height and to a deep hole at the foot of it. It is situated on the Boquhan Burn at a point where it is enclosed on each side by precipices of about 100 feet in height. The narrowness of the Burn at this point and the great volume of water together with the surrounding precipices, give it a rather awful and very picturesque effect. It is on the property of H. F. Campbell Esqr Boquhan
