024.13 Originally this was a Roman Catholic Chapel, but after the Reformation it was used as the parish Church. Neither the date of erection, nor Dedicatory name can be obtained In Nimmo's History of Stirlingshire it is thus mentioned "At the Chapel of this place (Dunipace) Robert Bruce and William Wallace are said to have had a second conference after the battle of Falkirk, which effectively opened the eyes of the former to a just view of his own true interest and that of the country." It was demolished in 1835 and not a vestige of it can now be seen.
