[South East] of the northernmost of the two houses known by the name of "Harrier," I was informed by Mr William Umphrey, the first authority, that about 10 years ago, a former occupier, now resident in Hametoun, while reusing stones from this Cairn found an earthenware vessel, in shape and size resembling a "2 gallon Dutch pot." but on applying to this person he denied all knowledge of it, I am inclined to think, however, that a vessel (which doubtless must have been an Urn) was found, and that the man's denial of its discovery was due to some superstitious idea,
