Oliver & Boyd's Almanac 1875.		 035.13 A substantial Stone & Slate building rebuilt in A.D. 1806 and Contains 190 Sittings: It is Chapel of Ease Served by the parish minister Revd. [Reverend] A. Nichols, Walls, and in the presbytery of Olnafirth and Snoyd of Shetland. The original building was of unknown date, but it is generally believed to have belonged to shortly subsequent to the reformation.
