[East] edge of a piece of Rough Pasture, and a Short distance South of "Stanesland:" no further information can be ascertained as to its origin than that it has been there as far back as any person can remember. It is doubtless that this stone is of the same class of ancient standing stones as those so frequently met with in the western highlands & islands, |
