046.11 An ancient place of interment about one chain Square Situated about 1/4 mile N. [North] of "Winterha," and in the district of "Breibister," also about 1/8 mile E. [East] of "Bendry," It has been in connection with an ancient "Romish Chapel," which Stood near the N. [North] Side of the "Burial Ground." and is upon the property of Master R. Scott of Melby. No particular date is assigned as that at which this place was first used as a place of interment, but it is generally believed to have fallen into disuse early in the 17th Century.
