046.06 A place of interment founded about the Same time, and in connection with an ancient Romish Chapel which Stood in the E [East] Side of the Burial Ground. and is Supposed to have flourished about the fourteenth century: It is Situated a Short distance N. [North] of Uphouse: and upon the property of Master Scott of Melby.
In consequence of the Crowded state of the parish graveyard at Walls, a movement is at present on foot in the parish having the reopening of this burial ground as its object, So far as I have been able to ascertain it had not fallen into disuse until about 1740.
