053.02 | This name applies to a small Island, lying off the noirth extremity of "Aiths Ness" it is about one fourth mile in length by two hundred yards wide, across its widest part it divided from Hinere Score by a large chasm called the "Gloup of the Scores. The width of the Island here being only about one hundred yards. There is a small wooden bridge across this chasm for the passage of sheep, from one part of the Island to the other, the Hinere Score is separate from "Aiths Ness" by a narrow channel being only sixty feet wide at Highwater.
