026 This name applies to a small Island with the remains of a Picts' Brough on it. This Brough seems to have been a great stronghold at some remote date two large ditches & embankments between them being still standing although the building has been greatly destroyed by pulling it down in order to get good stones for building houses, the stones of several houses in the neighbourhood having been taken from there The island is the property of Joseph Leask Esqr. Lerwick, Situated a little to the South east of the holm of Copister.
