057.06 This name applies to the Harbour light of Lerwick, It is situated on the South western extremity of the "Island of Bressay. also at the South entrace of "Bressay Sound". It was built in 1858 by the Commissioners of northern Lighthouses, It is forty feet in height, the light is a "Catadioptric Holophotal" second class revolving Red and white, shewing flashes alternately every minute, and visible fifteen nautical miles
