052.06 Applies to a place where it is generally believed the Church of "St Ola" stood at one time, there is no trace of it to be seen now, but an old man named Laurenson living near this place says that he remembers part of the wall of this church standing in the centre of the graveyard where the site of it is now shewn The old graveyard is situated in the District of Kirkhouse which place probably takes its name from the fact that a church Stood here at one time

Site of St Ola's Church [note] There is a Parish named after this Saint "St. Ola" in Orkney, and as St. Magnus lived in the XI Centy. [Century] it is presumed that above named saint must have lived after him.
