Note -
The parish of Yarrow consists of the parish proper. & a detached portion lying nearly a mile distant from the Main body at its N.W. [North West] corner - This detached portion is surrounded on all sides by the parish of Traquair in Peebles-shire with the exception of a small portion of Peebles (part of) which joins it at its S. [South] West corner to the extent of 56 Chains.
There is no portion of any other parish within that of Yarrow.
