010.14 ; 010.15 A Small Stream rising near "Paddockslack" on the boundary of Traquair parish, which after a run of about 3 miles (during the last of which it becomes very wild and rugged in its course) - in a south direction falls into the Yarrow about ½ a mile east of Gordon's Arms Inn.

010.14 A Small green Knowe or Knoll, on which Stand the ruins of the Old farm Steading of that name, the old farm is now included in Mountbenger farm - a good deal of interest is taken in the Knowe and its ruins in consequence of its being the Spot where the "Ettrick Shepherd" lived and Sang, previous to his removal to Altrieve.
