008.13 A very neat, and commodious modern mansion, pleasantly Situated on the banks of the Tweed" and near the Confluence of the "River Ettrick" with that "River", Immediatly about the house well wooded, and Some of the trees of large dimensions - North of, and near to the house is Situated a well walled terraced garden, the out offices, are extensive, well arranged, and are Situated at a convenient distance from the Hall. And on the north of the offices is a Small Gasometer, and Gas house, which supplies the whole establishment, with Gas.
It is the property and residence of Charles Scott Plummer Esqr
