It is not even all in Selkirkshire, for there are two portions of it in the County of Roxburgh. The extent of the principal division, from Caudonlee (Stow Ph [Parish]) on the North, to Wool Burn on the South, is about 7 miles & a half; and from Easter Kershope (Yarrow Parish) on the west, to whitmoor Loch on the East, about 8 miles The principal division is bounded on the N.
