[North West] side of Fastheugh Hill, from which it gradually descends, & crossing the ridge which connects Fauldshope hill with Bowhill Wood, winds along the hillside and reaches Bowhill Ho [House] in a distance of 7 miles - as per milestones errected all along the drive.
