New Statistical account		 002 ; 005 ; 006 ; 009 A Small portion of the Parish of Peebles Situated within the County of Selkirk and forms the extreme North Western portion of the latter County. It is bounded on the West, by the parish of Manor; North West, by Peebles proper; on the East and S.E. [South East] by Traquaire, and Yarrow detached, and on the South by Yarrow proper.
It is wholly mountain pasture and in about its centre lies the beautiful little Vale of "Glensax". Hills occupy the East of the area, Sectioned off
