019.06; 019.07 This moss, which is situated on the west side of the County road, on the farm of Parkhead, and the Estate of Sinton - It was at one time a Loch covering nearly 40 acres, but has been thoroughly drained. & Peats and Marl. of which there is an excellent seam, are now taken from it - It is sometimes called "Sinton Moss" but "Stonyford" is the original name.
