006.10 A Ford immediately below the junction of the Eden Water with the River Tweed. It is not a Ford for foot-passengers, but for Carts & Cattle; two floats or buoys are anchored in the South Side as a guide to those crossing, the water on each side being very deep - This ferry leads to Bamff Mill, hence the name, "Mill Ford".
