003.16 A flat portion of land on the summit of a hill on which there is a Trigonometrical Station. This land is near to a place called Fairie's Dean, and it is traditionally stated, that these small bipeds occasionally amused themselves on this spot, by playing at the game of Bowling or Bowls. -
