008.10 This is not an open well, but the water is conveyed by a pipe from he Original Spring which was Situated about the north end of this garden, this improvement was made by a former proprietress, to prevent trespass on her property. the pipe projects through the wall, and discharges the water into a trough underneath. this Small enclosure in the Decrete of Divesion is Called "Poind Field", it being used by the Villagers for Securing Cattle found Straying or tresspassing - hence the name -

[Description] -- A neat house, Situated I the Southeast Corner of "Castle Field", and is Supposed to Occupy the Site of and old Castle, which is Said to have Stood here, but there are no vestiges of it now to be Seen - there is a Small garden belonging thereto, at the South end of which there is a Spring. Called Pinfold Well, The name was given to this. house in Consequence of this Spring being Situated Contiguous to it -
