009.04 Several flat fields in the east side of Kelso, and between Inch Road and the Brae (The Brae is in the 25 inch work). These fields were the Town Crofts in remote times when the Original Kelso was a village, that in more recent ages was called the Town head. (see Roxburgh Street).
