Map of Berwickshire		 009.08 A beautiful River of Roxburghshire, the largest tributary of the Tweed. It rises in several short head waters in the Southern extremity of the parishes of Cavers and Hawick, and flows generally, in a S. [South] East direction, and unites with the Tweed immediately opposite the Town of Kelso.
