[North East] slope of Lanton Hill, there was an Urn found on the summit of the hill supposed to have contained the Heart of som Warrior or cheif, it was about 1 foot below the surface, & when exposed to the air it fell away to dust. It is generally Supposed this is the remains of an ancient British strength. |
