[South West] and South, by Nenthorn & Kelso, and on the S. [South] East by Sprouston - Ednam hill, is the only one in the parish, shelters the Village on the East - It rises to no great height, being arable to the top, but commands a very extensive view of the surrounding country - Except the Tweed, which forms the S. [South] Eastern boundary of the parish and divides it from Sprouston Parish, the "Eden" is the only stream belonging to Ednam -
