CÀRN MÒR Càrn Mòr Mr William McKay, Kilmachalmack 011 An ancient Cairn or "Dùn" near Birchfield House. Part of it has been removed for building and other purposes, but it is still about 80 feet in diameter and ten or twelve in height. It commands an extensive view of the Kyle of Sutherland and Glen Cassley. The Statistical Account states that several of these are in the parish, but it does not localize them.
