It is situated on the north west of Ross-shire and Cromartyshire It contains the post office Station of Lochbroom and the Village of Ullapool. It is bounded by the Minch, by Sutherlandshire and by the parishes Kincardine, Contin, and Gairloch, along its coast and belonging to it are the Summer Isles, Horse Isle, Martin Isle, Priest Isle, Grennard Island, and several smaller islands The parish Church is situated at the head or South east end of Loch Broom There is a Government Church at Ullapool, with the status of a quoad sacra parish Church There are two Free Churches one at Ullapool, the other Coigach. There are no detached parts of this parish but there are 7 detached parts of Cromartyshire locally situated within this parish which are described in Sheets, 3, 4, 12, 20, 21, 33, 35, 47, & 48. It contains about Statute acres the greater portion of which is Moorland
