The parish of Lochcarron is in the Presbytery of Lochcarron, Synod of Glenelg. It is bounded on the south and south east by Loch Carron and the parish of Lochalsh; on the east by the parish of Urray Detached and the parish of Contin; on the north by the parish of Gairloch; and on the West by the parish of Applecross. There are no detached portions of any parish situated within the parish of Lochcarron. But there are four detached portions of the parish of Lochcarron localy situated in the extreme South east of Applecross Ph [Parish] Three of them join the north east of Loch Kishorn and the other one is on trace 5 of Sheet 103. |
