014 | Issues partly from Loch Dambh a distance of about three miles north of Rhidorrach Lodge ("Shooting Lodge") It flows very rapidly forming some remarkable falls and Chasms midway between its source and the Lodge, and where it receives some other rapid tributaries, thence passes close to the shooting Lodge, smoothly through a long flat Glen interspersed with "Birch Wood" and enters the East end of a large sheet of water called "Loch Achall". and from thence swiftly flows in a Westerly direction for about 3 miles and falls into Lochbroom. It is famous for Salmon and trout fishing. |
