Besides a fortnightly corn market held here there are 7 fairs annually for the sale of cattle and agricultural produce. There is no regular Stance in or at the town - business is transacted in the Streets and on the road near the parish Church. The Burgh of Dingwall is combined with the Burghs of Cromarty, Dornoch, Kirkwall, Tain, & Wick to return one Member to serve in Parliament. |
