006 | [Situation] On the Sea Coast in the N.E. [North East] section of the plan, 70 chains N. [North] of Cellar Head. A small, steep, and tolerably prominent headland, the Coast of which is rocky and precipitous it is also much indented. There is a small ruin of an oblong form, on its summit, from which, perhaps the name has been derived. There is no part of the walls standing, but the stones of which it was composed are large and tolerably regular. |
