012.02 Extends from its junction with St. James' Street and Caledonia Street, to its junction With Well Street, it is intersected at the [East] end by the Greenock Section of the Caledonian Railway, but the usual Communication is Afforded to the adjoining Streets by means of a Substantial Bridge of three Arches;there are Some very neat Villas and Cottages built on either Side of this Street, of modern date, and imparts a degree of grandeur to this part of the town. The West end of this Street was formerly called "the Greenhill Road," but has been recently merged into Underwood Street and now forms a part of that Street._
