012.03 A large Collection of Stone Buildings, enclosed by a Wall, and as the name indicates, they are for the Accommodation of Foot Soldiers, Consists of Officers & Mens Quarters, Hospital, Canteen, Guard Room, Magazine, and the usual Washhouses, Cookhouses, Stables, [Etc] With a neat Drill Ground in front of the Officers Quarters, The Officers & Mens Quarters are two Storeys high, Slated and in excellent repair, they were built at the Government expense and are Adequate to the Accommodation of About half a Regiment of Foot; they are Commodious Buildings and Pleasantly Situated, and are at the present time unoccupied, but in the Charge of a Barrack Sergeant.
