Finlayston House
"The house itself of Finlaystone, with its extensive woods and plantations, which occupy a great extent along the coast side, has always been esteemed a first rate residence. It has for many ages been the chief Mansion of the Earls of Glencairn, and it still remains, with the greater part of the barony of Denniestoun, in the possession of the representative of that noble family."
