002.10 In the garden fronting Mr King's residence is a mound composed of the walls and rubbish of an old Castle which once stood here. It belonged to an ancient family called Kilbraith as I am informed by Mr King. The walls were standing so late as 1826. The mound which they form is over grown over with grass and planted with forest trees.
