John Menzies Esqr.		 142 A pier at Kincardine at which the ferryboat lands from the pier at Higginsneuk, on the south side of the Forth. It is built of square blocks of whinstone, and slopes gradually from high to low water mark. Each side is perpendicular. Formerly there was a steamer on the ferry, but at present it is a small row-boat. The charge is three pence for each person.
