Permit me to mention the proper
name of the farm in Sheet 85.12 is
Denmarkfield. That bulge
in the wooded bank opposite the
"King's Stone is called Denmark green
Supposed to be the spot where the
Danes crossed the Tay, a series of
large boulders, running obliquely
across the stream, about 100 yards
higher up, indicating the course
of this passage.
