According to Nimmo's Stirlingshire, 2nd Edn. [Edition] Page 262. This Moss was formerly known as Tilly-Moss. but it does not appear what was the precise spot of Lennox's bivouac. See the account of this skirmish in the New Stat. Acct. [Statistical Account]. No such place as Talla Moss is known. [Initialled] JB
