124 A small rocky hill on the farm of Nether Glenny. That triangular space on the on the S. [South] West end is enclosed with an old earthen dyke which Hugh Graham & Walter McFarlane supposed to have been constructed for some Military purpose. The Rev. Dr [Reverend Doctor] Turner says this is only supposition, and the old wall resembles nothing more than an old Fail dyke almost level with the surface.
