098 | [Situation] At the north end of Claypots Wynd The site of this Chapel and Hospital was pointed out by Mr. Marshall author of a history of Perth as being situated at the northern end of Claypots Wynd. The site is not well known in the neighbourhood but all the old inhabitants speaK of it as being situated somewhere about Claypots Wynd, and on a plan of Perth dated 1792 its site is shewn the same as pointed out by Mr. Marshall or near it. There is an old house on the west side of Claypots house at the north end of Claypots Wynd and about 30 or 40 years when digging [continued on next page] |
